I only see Yahoo groups and sites for trading patches.
I would dive in to the soft editor and program these two like normal synths. I don't think there is anything super-cryptic about them that needs more than experimentation and practice.
When I checkout a synth or attempt to gain an understanding, I usually start with the features or manual. I learn the basics first (usually the reasons why I bought it) and then explore further.
You can reverse engineer a patch or compare two different patches.
Or look at one basic patch and change one setting at a time and seeing the effect on the sound and making mental notes.
Also I compare what I already have and know with the new toy. Mostly it's trying to figure out how to do the simple stuff I usually do with all my gear. Basic routing ADSR and such.

microKorg tutorial information
Might be a bit late for replying, but you might find the microKorg block diagrams on my web site useful in showing how all the controls and functions are connected.
I found everything was too spread-out in the manual, so drew the diagrams to show the complete unit but with enough detail to show every possible control. I even learnt a few new things about the LFO routing which I didn't realise before.
The diagrams are called SyDs ('synthesizer diagrams' - as I intend doing the same trick with other synths when I've got more time!), and they are available for free download in the Freebies section on www.philizound.co.uk
Hope this helps.
Phil.
