Favorite Triton Editor / Librarian
There are several librarian/editor programs for the Triton.
I'm curious which one(s) you'd recommend as a starting point for someone who wants to edit Triton parameters (PCGs, IFX, etc.) on a PC.

I use Sonar for all my sequencing, mixing, and recording. The Triton is my main controller and sound module; I don't use its sequencer at all. The only time I use the Triton's touch screen is to change IFX and MFX. I'd love to do all editing and tweaking on the PC. The Triton's interface feels very slow and cramped in comparison. I'm sure others are in the same boat.what's wrong with editing the Triton directly from the front panel? Once you get the hang of it, it's sure a lot faster, especially if you play live.
Thanks! I added it.where's lelibby?
Thanks for voting, folks!
I plan to start my next album in a week or so (as soon as I finish the current one). My goal is to use one new sound per song.
Before I can do this, I need to figure out 2 things:
1) which librarian to use (and this post is helping in that regard)
2) how to save a snapshot of the E bank with each song (in Sonar), so that if I later overwrite sounds in the E bank, I can still return the E bank to the state in which it was for that song. Make sense?
Should I start another post to discuss #2 or is this a good enough place for it?

Finally (for today), I tried TriTools... For some reason this felt friendlier than the other ones. I was able to load a PCG file from my computer and write a patch to my E bank.
With the other utilities, I either could not do that (because of demo limitations) or couldn't figure out how to do it safely, due to a confusing interface.
I'll keep exploring (gradually) and will post my findings to the forum.
