N1 keys bouncing!

ive been abusing my N1 for years now, and the keys i use alot now bounce when i hit them.

it feels like there was rubber underneath them at one time, but i've destroyed over time.

the problem is that the keyboard ignored the hard hit i wanted and replaces it with a gentle hit that the bounce created.

should i open it up and try and fix it?
