Good example that creativity is what you really need not tons of stuff :)

Really worth watching this video (and finally in this thread it has a Korg in it :D)

True, but sometimes creativity is sparkled by tons of quality stuff

Well... I can add one more thing about Virus TI... Mine simply died today.

As simple as that.
I was working on it trying to find the pattern to the cracks/pops issue and then this incredybly high pitch sound came and within a second the TI simply shut off.
I was tweaking OSC3 at that time.
At first I thought it's the power adapter but since my friend was here with his still in box TI (he's gonna join the site soon ) I plugged his PA but to my disappointement nothing happened.

So I went to guitarcenter where I bough it and check this out...
Since I am a good customer there and they didn't have any desktops on stock they gave me a brand new in a box TI Keyboard free of ANY extra charge . Considering I bought the desktop for $1800 tax payed I don't think I could get a better deal

While beeing in the store I also had a pleasure to meet a guy that came to replace his Radias rack as something went down on it too. Anyway we talked a bit and i asked him if he can show me some of the stuff he's talking about (he was talking about Radias in superlatives like mad) and in simply 10 minutes he made such a deep sweeeeeeeet sounding pad and a cool bass that actually made me rethink the 'Radias' idea.
I told him about this forum and hopefully he joins as he knew pretty damn good how to make it awesome. I'm still unsure bout the filters on that machine but the sound in general it makes was pretty damn fat.

In terms of quality of services you guys (in US) are light years ahead. Last weekend I returned my Moog LP, as it broke two days after purchase. I drove 200 km to the Music Store in Germany (I live in Belgium). Everything had been arranged over the phone, so I was supposed to pick up the replacement on the same day. Well, it turned out the replacement got lost and they would send me one by post a week later (still waiting). Not only I did not reveive any extra rabate; actually I had to pay 25 euros extra for the VAT difference between Germany and Belgium (they have to send it abroad, even though the distance is 200km).

I should have bought it by thomann.de (which is what I usually do) oh well.

Anyway its good to have a reference of what proper customer service should look like.

Tell me about it. Beeing from Poland I'm still getting used to the fact that customer is the man in here period.
For example anything I buy I can return within 30 days. So basically I go pick up the moog for example (which I intend to do next week :D) and if I don't like it within 30 days I just simply go there and return it for a full refund or pick something else to check if I like it.
When I was buying the NL2X there before, they only had a floor model. So I bought it with a discount (cause it was not brand new in box) and was told to come back in 2 weeks and they will replace for a brand new in box unit - again free of extra charge.
In Poland if something breaks while you are STILL in the store after 1 min of purchase you can kiss your ass good bye and ship it to the manufacturers warranty center lol.

Different worlds.

LOL mate, I'm Polish too.

I can assure you that the customer service in Belgium is even worse. That's why I buy my gear in Germany. It worked fine until now :|

Anyway, enjoy your TI 61. Its the best looking keyboard around IMHO.

pozdrawiam
