Interesting! I sold my E2S, then missed it a lot, thought about the Digitakt hard and then looked at the E2S with it’s polyphony, VA synths and portability/batteries and bought another one (red this time). I guess for all the grief they get, they do actually fit a niche. I still would still really l ...

I'm back! Bought another electribe

So I went and did it.. bought another tribe. An EMX-1SD. Missed the old one when I sold it and since bought a Digitakt. Digitakt is the best sampler/Groovebox I've owned by a long shot, but it's missing synths. So I figured what's the best bang for buck Midi controlled synth, and settled on the EMX ...

There are two ways you can layer - you can assign a part as poly and then put in multiple notes. Or better, copy a part to a second pad and tweak that. Assigning a part as poly and playing multiple notes is not layering fyi ;) It's just playing a chord with a drum sample :D Almost as amazing as how ...

I pre-ordered, spent some solid time with it as I was travelling and it was my only music device other than an ipad. It was fun and interesting but the synth engines are lackluster, and the terrible pcm sounds started to annoy me. All that wasted space that could have had more useful sounds put in ...

I thought in one of the demos they showed a shift function where you can nudge things off grid..... Yes they did, very cool feature. Also you can switch patterns mid pattern if you like, no need to stick to quantised launching That's what I thought. Still doesn't answer sauce's question though and ...

The grid of pads suggests that notes are auto-quantized. Can you record sequences with no quantization? I thought in one of the demos they showed a shift function where you can nudge things off grid..... Yes they did, very cool feature. Also you can switch patterns mid pattern if you like, no need ...

First jam on volca sample, impressive little box

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4omBqbogEs Just a little jam I'd thought I'd share. This was only using inbuilt samples and I have loaded Vosyr onto my pc and cant wait to load up some of my own sample and really see what this thing can do. Super impressed with the build quality and sound from ...
