Today I started up Wavestation standalone, and for some unknown reason it forgot it was licensed. Went through that rigamarole, and it's up, but there's no sound, even from its internal keyboard. The VST version works in Studio One. I suspect it also forgot about my audio interface (maybe MIDI too ...

I know this is old, and this is just a guess, but if you haven't settled this out, as a troubleshooting step, try running it as admin. Depending on where it's installed, it may not have permission to write to its own settings directory, like for instance in Program Files if you have UAC enabled ...
