I was told I could come from the line-out on the Kross and go into the line-in on my laptop, and hear myself thru headphones. But, my laptop has no line-in jacks. Will the usb-out on the Kross going into the laptop usb do the same thing. I want to hear the Kross thru the laptop. Am I making sense ...

I have music in the Kross sequencer.
I will be installing a Cakewalk recording software.
I would like to transfer the music to the computer
so that I can record to CD or thumb drive to play in my car.

I've gotten help here in the past and am in need of help again.
I've had my Kross a couple of years now and it's great.
I just got a laptop computer and need to connect it to the Kross.
I don't want to break or damage anything.

Set the song up again and all is well.

Does anyone use the M1 Piano for anything? If so, what.

I cut my keyboard teeth on the M1 and I used to use it a lot back in the day.
I now have the Kross 61.

What I mean is Korg is offering an update to the Kross software.
My question is, do I need it, and if so why.
What will I get with the update to make me want to download it?

I basically use it to record Piano, Bass & Drums.
