Thanks for your reply. I haven't checked recently but the pound used to be around $2.50/Canadian Dollar which would make an asking price around $1250.00. I was thinking of asking around $1000.00 Canadian so hopefully that would be in the range.

Once again, thanks

Selling my Triton Extreme - 76

Hello Forum, I noticed on the Kronos page one of the fellas is going to sell his Triton Extreme to purchase a Kronos and is wondering about price. I as well, am going to start the process of trying to sell my Extreme 76 and am trying to figure out what would be a fair price. I'm not really thinking ...

OK. Thanks. That does clarify it for me. I do notice a slight reduction in Volume but for a home studio it's not that significant.

Balanced, Unbalanced Cables

Just a couple of questions from the experts on the forum about balanced and unbalanced cables. I recently purchased Studio Monitors and this balanced and unbalanced business is enough to drive an O.G. like me, nuts!! I bought 2 monitors with 8 inch drivers and a 10 inch subwoofer. The instructions ...

Expression Pedal

Just my two cents worth. I bought that big Yamaha Expression pedal when I got my Extreme in 2006. It's a stereo plug on it. I just plugged it in to where it says Pedal on the back of the Extreme; assigned it in Global and it works like a damn! I can't remember exactly what I paid for it but it seems ...

Thanks for the input. That gives me some ideas to work with. I'm going to go out and see if I can try some different ones at the local music shop.

Studio Monitors

I hope I have this in the right section of the Forum. If not please let me know. I'm thinking of getting a pair of Studio Monitors (like the Rokit KRK's) for studio use only (no gigging). I'm only interested in the DP sound. I'm not doing any recording but a lot people seem to be using them in their ...

Software for Midi Files

Hello Forum,

I'm thinking about selling my Extreme 76. I still enjoy using some midi files for backing tracks which I did with the Extreme Sequencer. If I decide to sell the Extreme, can anyone suggest a good software program that I could use for midi file creation.

Thanks

Kurzweil SP2XS

Hello Forum, I'm thinking of buying a Kurzweil SP2sX to replace my older Casio keyboard which I use as my controller keyboard for my Triton Extreme. I midi everything into the Casio as it is 88 with weighted keys (while my Extreme is the 76) Does anyone have an SP2XS or know about them. I thought I ...

You can convert your Instrumentals to .wav files from .sng files. Here's what you do. Press the Sampling Tab. Press the upper-right popup and select "Auto Sampling Setup". Press the "2ch Mix to Media" radio button, then press OK. Make sure your song is at the beginning in Sequencer Mode. Press the ...

I would think both of those should work. There is list of acceptable cards on the Korg.com website. I use that 4Gb Sandisk card in my extreme and it works just fine. Make sure to format a new card when you install it.

I've found that Sandisk and Kingston seem to work well although I"m sure there are other brands that will work.
