Well, I suppose if you put some velcro on the underside of the MK, but it would look goofy. That said, Gator bags are lined with padded fabric that loves velcro - I use velcro straps for my cables and it stays in place inside the bag. Also, attaching a guitar strap to the sides will turn any small ...

Hi, Mmh, ok. This should do it: * Set the function knob to full edit (last possible selection at 5 o'clock) * Turn knob 1 to the MIDI FLT page (+/- 3 o'clock) * Turn knob 2 to the desired filter (prog change, ctrl change, pitch bend or sysex) * Turn knob 3 to enable/disable the chosen filter ...

Ciao.
Microkorg XL+. I do have the manual, and see it's under section 6, perimeters, but I can't get the Paremeter knob to move off patch name.

On the microX you can go into GLOBAL, press the + key once to go into GLOBAL 0: System Preferences screen and tick Memorise. Assign your favourite patch to the Combi A button and you've got as really quick way to get to your patch, even if it isn't quite what you asked for. I found the favorites to ...

Re: Thanks for posting

How many "favorites" patches can you define? Is it 5 programs and 3 combi's or is it more than that? Thank you There are 8. ABCDE on the top row, and ABC on the bottom. Keep in mind, you have to enter favorites mode to reach your favorites, once you've loaded them into the 8 slots. If it's not too ...

Ok, I ended up using the favorites feature, so all I have to do after powering on is hold down exit/cancel + GM, then hit button a on the top row , and I'm there. You go into favorites mode as above, then global>favorites to set up the top and bottom rows with a favorite program or combi of your ...

I think I'm going to see if this can be the power up program. It's gonna be the one I use the most, It sits in so well with my Nord stage sounds. Anyone know if power up program can be changed? I do know about the favorites, but I'm going to use this patch in my band 99% of the time.

ALLRIGHTY then... I thought i'd save the next guy who comes looking a bunch of frustration by putting the easy method of setting up & using favorites i worked out just now with the addendum i was just sent. Hold down the EXIT/CANCEL button & press the GM button. All the programable buttons will ...

MicroSampler as midi Slave related Questions.

Ok ya'll, I hope to make use of some of the psudo-realistic, and digital timbers of the MicroSampler to add texture to my mostly analog sounding Nord Stage (classic) via midi and thus have 2 questions here. First, I want to put the brass sample in ROM, into the slot where OB brass is in the vintage ...

Re: Stand for Korg MicroSampler

Apoligies if this alrady has a topic but I couldn't find anything by searching. What do you all use as a stand for a MicroSampler? I'm a guitarist usually so I'm not too familiar with keyboard stands, the X stands I looked at online looked like they might be too wide for the MicroSampler. X Stands ...

Re: Giving a sample more length

The easiest thing to do to make it be more like an organ is to check the Loop box on the Librarian Editor software. This just makes it play over and over. I am not sure if the sample is built for looping. Apart from that you could export it and load it into Audacity and copy and paste to extend it ...

Best way to give a sample more length?

Hi all, there's a pretty good mellotron choir sample in the vintage keys sample pack, but it decays way too quick. I'd rather have it be full on put to key off, kind of like an organ. What's the best way to achieve this? On board editing, or using the editor software? Thanks in advance.
