For which board? mK, mKXL(+), MS2k?

Hint: get the pdf manuals at the Korg website...

Microkorg XL+. I do have the manual, and see it's under section 6, perimeters, but I can't get the Paremeter knob to move off patch name.

Hi,

Mmh, ok. This should do it:
* Set the function knob to full edit (last possible selection at 5 o'clock)
* Turn knob 1 to the MIDI FLT page (+/- 3 o'clock)
* Turn knob 2 to the desired filter (prog change, ctrl change, pitch bend or sysex)
* Turn knob 3 to enable/disable the chosen filter

Success
