Agree, and agree. Aftertouch should have been there from the beginning. However, still with the sound engine of Nautilus, Korg is in the lead. I have tried both Fantom and Montage, but from my personal opinion Korg is on top. But sound is always a personal thing. I have owned the famous Oasys-88 (so ...

Where is that mentioned in the Parameters Guide ? I am curious. I have both Kronos 2-88 and Nautilus-88 here. I have even loaded some of my sounds from the Kronos into Nautilus. At least I cannot hear any difference at all through my studio monitors or headphones but maybe you can hear something I ...

I had the Oasys 88 for 10 years (2005-2015). It's still an amazing instrument and still the sound of it is... I am out of words... A friend of mine still has the Oasys 88 and everytime I visit him I just have to touch it and play a couple of tunes... (Before Oasys my base rig was Yamaha Motif 7 and ...

Ok. Let me give my experience here. I have a Kronos 2 88. Before that I had an Oasys 88. Both are just amazing in my opinion. Now I wanted a second keyboard in my "home studio" and I bought a Fantom 8. I wanted to try something different and it is sure a nice keyboard but the sounds are from the 90 ...

Had my Oasys 88 for 10 years. I considered the Kronos 1 but found it way to ”plastic” and not near the build quality of the Oasys. When the Kronos 2 came I was convinced so I traded my Oasys and it was the right thing to do. Kronos 2 is much more ”rigid” and feels like the premium instrument that it ...

Just want to say, try this out. Some amazing sounds and the best electric guitars I have heard on the Kronos so far. And this library is just a very small KSC file, it's just utilizing the existing engines and samples. It's so cheap, just buy it. It is well spent money. K-Sounds KRS-86 Live ...

Awesome indeed. And once again just to clarify what a amazing piece of equipment the Kronos is. Yeah, we are all waiting for the Kronos 3 but as Jordan says, this does everything he needs. Well, the XK5 backstage wasn't a surprise though ;-) Hammond is Hammond after all, and the CX3 is not really on ...

I bought the mighty Oasys 88 in 2005. It was the core in my live rig for 10 years together with Roland A-70. Now i have the Kronos 2 88 together with same A-70. Amazing rig and it covers all my needs. Never ever had any issues with the Oasys and I expect the same build quality with my Kronos 2. And ...

I had my Oasys for 10 years since 2005. When I saw the first Kronos I just laughed because I felt it was so low-quality compared to the Oasys. When the Kronos 2 came out I went to my Music dealer and tried it out and I must say Korg finally did a good job on the Oasys 2, that is what I would call it ...

I replaced my Oasys 88 which I have had since 2005 with a Kronos 2 one month ago. Was a little bit worried now when Yamaha brings a new board on the market. Did I make the right choice? Well, only by looking on the videos and specs I would say the Oasys would still kick its ass. And it is from ...

Nord Stage 2. Well, that depends what you are looking after. You can't compare those keyboards because they are really very different. Nord keyboards are really aiming for a specific purpose like a live organ or a live piano. The Kronos is much more than that. In my opinion the Kronos is very cheap ...

We should not be sad

Well, of course we have to be a bit dissapointed with all the talk about the updates and open architecure and so on... But we have all participated in the development of the Kronos. Without OASYS, nothing would have been possible. Korg know that. They don't mention OASYS just because of plain ...
