My Kronos is on an Omnirax Force 24 desk. It's got rack spaces on either side and a rather substantial riser that is separate, but that rolls up to the desk itself (so no space wasted on a hutch). It's got space enough for my interface, preamps, a power amp for my Auratones, and a bunch of stuff ...

Yes, it's an Aeron. I had a past life as a software developer, so my butt was a big investment.

My Kronos is the center of my workflow. The pen on the edge of the screen is a stylus from a Nintendo DS XL...the BIG one. It makes screen use a LOT better. My Kronos is my primary controller, so it's sitting at my desk, which has a pair of Focal Twin 6 Be and some Auratones on the riser. I HAVE plugged it into my Roland KC550 (15" woofer, among other things), which will blow your MIND.

I get heartily pissed by these Analog heads saying "Insert VA or Prophet 8 or Voyager" doesn't sound like this or that Vintage analog well theres a reason why it doesn't...who cares!!!stick with your vintage overpriced dinosaur toys!!we'll use the modern Reliable VA or up to date analogs,lifes too ...

Some bizarre commentary about the Virus in this thread. "Moogy?" Really? What Moog do you think the Virus sounds like? I've owned a pile, including a modular, and I'm not convinced. For what it's worth, a stylus works very well on the Kronos. I have one of the large stylii that comes with the Nintendo DS XL. Just keep it sitting on the top and use it for any serious tapping you need to do. Also, make sure you calibrate your screen from your playing position. Works a LOT better ...
