Looping Software
Does anyone know of any music software that has an operation whereby when you click a button, a loop is created through back-tracking the current audio. As traditionally when recording loops. You click record and you have a timeframe from then to slot in your loop because it finished recording. I ...

Help With a Looping Macro
Im using ableton live at the moment and came up with an idea which will greatly help me. It requires a macro. I want it to perform the action on a single track audio file whilst its recording. After a midi note is received, - Chop the last 16/8/4/2/1 bars - Bring that up as a sample (sample not ...

KP3 Midi Messages
This question has probably been run over a few times but I want to just clarrify. If I was to wire up the midi out on the kp3 to a DAW I've been told only these messages will be recognised, The Kaoss Pad 3 sends the following MIDI events: Touch Pad X-axis CC #12 Touch Pad Y-axis CC #13 Touch Pad on ...

Yeah this octatrack is looking good, but I'm still in A levels at the moment so I'm not an earner. However It's certainly the best thing I've came across fitting my description thanks! If we are looking at a grand for a 4 multitrack looping function on a piece of hardware at the moment then perhaps ...

This is the link that fueled my search mostly --> http://www.theregoesthefear.com/2010/11/interview-beardyman.php 'You’ve been on the live circuit for a while now, why has it taken so long for an album? I’ve been touring pretty much constantly for the last five years so it’s been hard to find the tim ...

Oh damn I was afraid of 'no' being the answer :P However you raise thoughts with your mixer idea. I wish I could test it but the only mixer I have is an old mixer for turntables with no panning on it :( I really like the kp3 but feel really tempted scrap both of mine and start looping using ableton ...

KP3 Recording Setup
Well I've been a proud user of the kp3 for over a year now (beatboxing through a mic) untill getting another one. After much use I've realised I need to start recording what I'm doing. However when I'm recording it straight from the aux out, obviously I get a flat recording from start to finish of ...

Thanks for the quick reply :) Yeah I've seen this it seems pretty good but I'm after something that allows me to have multiple outputs so I can assign seperate loops (Or maybie I should be saying tracks) to seperate outputs. I have no trouble finding good sequencers. The trouble lies in having this ...

Live Looping and then Recording
Well............. I've been searching and searching for answers and frankly I'm just getting dragged down further into the rabbit hole. Heres what I've been doing, I create samples live with a microphone into 2 KP3'S, buying the second kp3 in retrospect basically just for the additional 4 sample ...
