Thanks Paul, I'm basically coming up on a year, but the voiding of warranty's not an issue, cause I don't even think it's serviceable in Canada (since I bought it in the US) - just wondering if anyone has actually tried to do it themselves at all.

Just got my SV188 (love it), but can't seem to simply plug in through USB and have my music software record what I'm playing. I heard them in person.. They sounded really good to me when I was considering buying them for my sv-1.
