initially i was looking for something portable and easy because im going on holidays just after im able to purchase it and i wanted to be able to make some tunes while travelling. but considering all the things that you said, i will save up for the r3. also it is just so i have a synth to work with ...

i know this has been done to death, and ive searched just about every thread of every forum for information. i just need someone to outline the main pros and cons of each. so i can see which one is right for me.

ok since no one could tell me how to midi my kp3 to fruity loops, perhaps someone can tell me how to midi my kp3 to ableton. basically i want to be able to assign the 8 function buttons to 8 different tracks, i want to be able to use the touch screen as faders for each of those tracks. and i want to ...

oh ok. i want to be able to use the top 8 buttons to trigger different tracks, and i want to assign the touch screen as faders for those tracks. also it would be nice to have the sample buttons as master play, rewind etc. and the fader as a master volume. thanks

ok. so ive got myself a kp3 and fruity loops. and no matter how hard i try to understand midi it always goes way over my head. so can someone please tell me how i can midi different aspects of fruity loops to different parts of my kp3. thanks for the help guys and gals

i just wanted to know of any good free soft synth music creation programs to MIDI to my kp3

i want to be able to trigger different tracks with the 8 slicer buttons. i want to be able to control levels with the touch screen. i want to be able to control some other parameter with the slider and i want to be able to use the sample buttons as like play, stop fw and rewind buttons

i just wanted a quick rundown of how to set up my kp3 as a controller for garageband. im very new to all of this MIDI interface stuff and would love some help. and be as dumb sounding as possible im not super up to date with all the lingo thanks a heap

i also have a casio dg-20 digital guitar from the 80s. and everything ive mentioned has midi in and out.
