Re: Key Advanced Modulation for AL-1
Hey guys, Trying to figure out how to make the kronos with the excellent AL-1 behave more like a out of calibration old polysynth (JP8, P5, etc). Basically, I could do what I want if the step sequencer could step via note advance, as in, doesn't move to the next step until the next key is pressed ...

On a daily basis, I am spoiled by the most revered synthesizers money could have got you throughout history. Luckily (and unluckily) my studio team.... just... love... A/B'ing everything . On paper, as in looking at analyzers and the like, the Kronos is second to none. Especially when pumping the ...

Man, this thread is awesome... I love that Dan & Rich have both come in to help out.... I really do not like these service centers.... I own an "out of warranty" shop here in LA and I cannot believe what comes in here straight from the service center's bench.... A few that stick out to me would be a ...

Okay maybe I'm really missing something.... but doesn't tone adjust solve 99% of the problems discussed here? If we assume that you choose your program because it's almost what you need, then we can assume that the adjustments you're more likely to make are things like the ADSR, LFO rate, Filter ...

FWIW, i believe the new kronos is only cheaper because the price has to go up on the old kronos now that theres a limited supply. For example, the newest and most affordable iPad is $500. The first generation ipad, cause who the heck is buying those now, is over $600. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer ...

Step Sequencer stepped by notes
So lately I've been playing with a lot of analog synths (OB8/X, Jupiter 6/8, Prophet 10) at my shop and I have come to the determination that there are just certain inconsistencies that are beautiful that gets lost with digital recreations that allow you to play more than the original polyphony ...

Rosen Digital Studio Guitar Impulses
My company, Rosen Digital, just released some awesome guitar impulses that you need to check out. If you're familiar with recording DI guitar into your DAW and "re-amping" with software, you're probably no stranger to the thin-ness and overall odd tone you get from it. With our cabinet impulses, you ...

As a technician: - Screen... this will be expensive, but you'll be glad you did one day. - Touchscreen (different than screen) - Joystick Assembly - A motherboard would be pretty overkill, but would literally double the life... - A SSD wouldnt be a terrible idea either. It would probably never fail ...
