Just Tuning

I think what happens (with other synth tunings) is that they adjust the tuning to ensure that A stays at 440 Hz so if you went to C Just Major tuning the note C would be A * 5/3 = 740 Hz
Glad to see someone is trying to get away from Equal Temperment

question about presets (for synastikki)

thanks for your info about pitch stretching
I understand about velocity switching between two different samples
but there are some presets with the same sample for low and hi (but a different amplitude) wont this cause a volume problem at switch point ???

Too right - some of the things they've done in the presets are inexplicable i.e tune=-200 transpose = +2 ?!?
