I know this is possible but I'm not sure how to do it off hand. Maybe this should be posted in a new topic anyway...???bonfuhrer wrote:Can't help you, but maybe you can help me.

...There's no way to have the pitch bend only affect the notes you're currently playing (and not the decayed portions of notes you've already released), which is why bend is usually used for lead parts and not pads. So, for what I'm looking for, you're saying it's actually *not* possible then. That ...

No pitch-bend AFTER key is released
Hello all, What I'm trying to achieve is simple and I *believe* my TR can do it: I simply want the pitch stick (JS X+/-) NOT to affect the pitch after I release the key. I am doing pitch bends *while* playing but it's a pad/lead with a very slow decay so I need the pitch to stay constant after I ...

I do all the sequencing on my PC, software based. It's much more fun, easier to use, and easier to correct the mistakes, or create the pattern you like. When you're done, open the pattern editor on the TR, play the notes you see on screen of your PC on your TR and save it. You can use it later on ...

Wow, yeah I just watched that video and yeah, it is pretty amazing! Personally I LOVE vocoders. I use one with my band and it works great for a good "classic" vocoder sound- NORD Micro-modular. However, these are no longer made and might be hard to find (should be able on ebay though). For a newer ...

Yes, this worked. So in review.... If you want to trigger an external midi device (in my case, that is running a loop in sync with your TR) the midi note hit must be the first note of the RPPR (i.e. can't trigger a middle C arpeggio with the bottom C on the keyboard and expect external midi device ...

I don't use any editor. I program all of my sounds onscreen. Once you know where everything is, its not that hard to go straight to the tab for what you are looking for. It is a bit difficult if your buttons start giving in though. Yes, I've learned where everything is but I just feel that if I had ...

Editor Software (I need one that doesn't suck)
Thinking it was the best one, I purchased TR Soundeditor (TREdpro) but the more I use the more I'm realizing that it SUCKS and wishing I could get my money back! I CANNOT BELIEVE that Korg didn't make software to support these boards (LE or TR), it's simply mind blowing. Last Korg I had (X5DR) came ...

Here's the info I got (via email) from Korg Tech support: "...I stand corrected. It works differently than we both thought. I thought that you wouldn't be able to trigger the single note, and you thought that while the RPPR pattern was playing, it should send out a single note to the midi Out and ...

RPPR key doesn't transmit midi
Has anyone else had a problem with a RPPR key not transmitting a midi note? Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: I play in a band with a live drummer. He uses a Roland SPD-S with loops on it. For the drum machine, I programed a loop at 117 BPM and I have a RPPR pattern (on my Korg) at 117 BPM to go ...

.Mid song on SD card won't play
Hello all, I am trying to transfer a sequence I've done on my computer (in Sonar 4) to my Korg TR via the SD card. When i play the sequence in Sonar with the TR connected via midi, everything plays back as it should, in SEQ mode and in COMBI mode (i set a combi with the settings I want and I just ...

Trigger a SEQUENCE with a Key
Hello all, I am trying to trigger a sequence (song) via one key on the keyboard. It has to be a key on the keyboard to start the sequence because I'm using midi to trigger a loop on a roland drum machine (both the sequence and the loop on the drum machine need to be started by keyboard...bottom C ...
