Well, it's allright I import my .X5 files into XEdit, then save them as .sysex, then what software will I ...

Re: -
They will, the synthesis is the same, and I guess NS5R has the first 430 multisamples just the same as in X5(D), and the new multisamples are placed after those. Yes, the multis are the same, the effect are the same etc. Only, there are a few differences. Whereas value parameter was 0-99 in the X ...

The X5D has .X5 files, not .sysex
The NS5R does recognise the .X5 files, only I'm not sure the programs/combis will sound EXACTLY the same.

Compatibility bethween X5D/R and NS5R?
Greetings everyone, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm thinking of buying an NS5X. I'd like to load my old X5D sounds into it. The file formats are different (.X5 .NS5) The internal wave ROM and multisamples are the same. The effects are the same, everything seems to be compatible. Maybe ...

They do have the same wave rom, same multisamples, same effects. Only, the rack has an additional 4 megs of ROM sounds, and some extra features - but doesn't have a seq. The sounds are the same, although the file formats are different! I'm trying to figure out how I could put (my own) X5D sounds on ...

Only one thing left to make sure of:
Do many MIDI cables linked together (with this "Quadra-Thru-thing") make noticable latency? (from hitting the key, till the signal gets to the rack)

Hey, thanks. "The Quadra Thru" from MIDI SOLUTIONS looks promising. Although, I want to make sure of 2 things, before I buy it. Does the box receive the channel info along with the Midi signal, or it just splits midi and sends it to all of the connected devices? If I change the midi channel on my ...

Hello, and thank you for the reply. So, if I set up a combi like: 2 channels, first channel: triton's channel with let's say Attack Piano from the bottom to C3. Then I set up the second channel from C#3 to the top on MIDI ch2, it will send the midi data to the 2nd MIDI ch rack with, let's say a ...

TS as a Synth/Controller along with Rack modules.
Hello, I have a Korg TS. The other side, 3 other rack synths, plugged into an 8 channel mixer, via simple audio (jack) cables. Mixer channels: 1st ch - Triton ST - jack 2nd ch - Rack1 - jack 3rd ch - Rack 2 - jack 4th ch - Rack4 - jack I use separate channels for each synth. But I'll have to control ...

Thanks guys, but the one Dani sent was something different, haha. The one Lorenzo had was the piano I was looking for, only - some of the samples were a bit noisy. But I won't need the samples anymore, I solved the problem

K2000
Hi Sharp, I've heard the standard K2000 Piano tone in other songs from 'Miles either. The most famous is 'Children, but not the only one with that piano. I've created a few programs, but sadly: Delay and Reverb won't make the sound (Wave) so different. The standard piano and the 16Mb is sound ...

K2000
Greetings, Sharp: He used the K2000 to record the song 'Children' from Dreamland. If you check youtube, you'll hear the original K2000 piano preset and some typical K2000 effects in it ;) lazerfist: Thank you for the link, but these are not samples FROM the k2000. These are other piano samples that ...

Kurzweil K2000 Samples
Hello Everyone, I'm looking for KURZWEIL K2000 samples to load them into my Triton's sampler. I'd like to get well-sampled noiseless proper waves. Velocity doesn't matter, only the 2-3 notes (or more!) per octaves. Size can be as big as you like, just please - make it sound perfect :-) Thank you ...
