Re: @Randelph
I currently have the kross 2 88 keyboard. I just ordered the EK-50 CSA keyboard as a second keyboard due to the sounds. I watched the videos to help me decide to get it. Possibly some of the music stores in your area would have a display model to play in the store. Hopefully you find the keyboard ...

Re: Keybed
From what you say, I think you might not find the EK-50 satisfactory, at least as a sole instrument. Speaking as a pianist myself, if I really want to 'play piano', I go to another instrument. (I have a very elderly Clavinova CLP 100, and a Kawai ES100). The EK-50 doesn't (to me) feel like a piano ...

Keybed OK/good? No chance to try b4 buying
Could really use some input! I am keen on buying the EK50L but am worried I won’t like the keybed, and I don’t have local stores with it in stock. I assume the EK50L and the newer i3 have identical keybeds. As point of reference I’ve had or played: Korg : PA1000: loved the board EXCEPT for the keybe ...

Hmmm... hopefully it'll take this time. The above blank posts from me was when I tried to send this post the last time. I LOVE the mic section on the Pa1000! That you have all those controls right up on the board, the fx sound really good, volume and fx amount controls etc., it's way way better than ...

As always, thanks Harry! Yeah, I'll probably pick up one of those 4 THRU from MIDI Solutions. I'm doing like we've talked about- I've got the Kawai ES110 as my weighted controller for synth/semi-weighted boards- it's fan freakintastic! I love the feel of the ES110, so nice to have a weighted action ...

MIDI OUT used as MIDI THRU
Ok, always thought the Pa4x was not worth the extra money, esp without the great speakers on the Pa1000, but there are important differences! For example, with the Pa1000 you get MIDI OUT/IN, but no Thru. Is there a setting for making the MIDI OUT a MIDI THRU? I want to slave the Pa to a weighted ...

I have a ton of experience with playing outdoors on battery assist. In the past I used qsc k10 and k8.2 speakers, both of which require A LOT of power. For those speakers I used: - Deep cycle battery, weighs about 60 pounds, used a 400 watt inverter. The battery, about 70 amp hours?, did well, but ...

NA, thanks for sharing! I wish EVERYONE would share how they do things. There are many many different ways. These boards are fairly complex, and the way you decide to organize it can make a big difference in it's usability and user-friendliness. Esp with things like when a User file can be moved ...

Do you use the Keyboard Set List and Song Set List buttons?
Do you use the Keyboard Set List and Song Set List buttons that are on the bottom right of the front panel? I didn't realize how central these were to the use of the board, and since then have bounded forward with my enjoyment and programming. It's been huge. Asked a guy who I know is uber smart ...

Re: User Sounds can be easily orphaned
-> if you change where that Sound sits in the User banks that Sound is 'orphaned' from the Keyboard Sets it was pointing to. Only specific User location is saved at Keyboard SET memory , for instance if saved as User Bank 4 , 4th page location ID then whatever is saved at that location this sound ...
