Well, obviously Stephen you would know better than me. I could swear that the handful of Combis I used in my Oasys with Karma were totally different in the Kronos I played the other day in the store, but I submit to your knowledge. Is there any way they could have been modified, since it was a floor ...

Owned an Oasys for a few years, played a Kronos a couple days ago at GC. I can confirm, many of the same Programs/Combis exist in Kronos that were in Oasys, but the Karma for them has been significantly revised and is NOT the same. If you were used to using Karma on a given patch, you will have to ...

Yeah, about $200 off those prices listed.
And I never pay s/h at Sweetwater. Ever.
Plus, I'm 1-day shipping from there, so everything gets here super fast.

Sorry I haven't read the entire thread. Forgive me if this has been shared already.
In regards to controlling the editor for PC/Mac from an iPad, you can easily do this wirelessly and with multitouch capability using a simple program like SplashTop Remote http://www.splashtop.com/remote .

...As far as a 'workflow', you should take a close look at M3, Triton, and most relevantly OASYS videos. The KRONOS has almost exactly the same operating system and most features are taken directly from the OASYS... I really wish people would quit posting this response in regards to the USB/DAW ...

Dear Lord this became a mess. Kevin, while I really appreciate your thought and effort, you REALLY need to consider something here. You are NOT part of Korg, you were NOT part of the development of the Kronos and you do NOT have access to any other info that what the rest of us have seen/heard ...

For this question to be answered properly one has to define what they mean by VSTPlugIn. From what i know of as a fact it will have a VST and StandAlone Editor, similar or same to the M3 but that doesnt make it a VST plugin in the full sense. A VST plugin is something basically which can be used ...

Martin, you've posted this before, but I have a question for you. Was the M3 editor considered "a VST"? If not, they're NOT going to be the same. The Kronos will likely be more integrated than the M3, just remains to see to what extent. Elvis, I know it's hard, but repeatedly posting in a demanding ...

Elvis, we already know it will work "as a VST", but what we don't know it to what extent that integration will be. I've had people tell me everything from "nothing but simple MIDI note information", which I already get from my crappy $100 Oxygen49, thankyouverymuch, to "it's gonna be amazing, just ...

Gotcha! Same here regarding budget... there's currently lot of new things on the wish list... Phil My most difficult decision right now is regarding my primary softsynth. It was a forgone conclusion that I was going to buy Komplete 7 (and Maschine), then I found Omnisphere. HOLY CRAP that thing's ...

Michael, look in the first post, Dan did already replied. My comment was a wish ;) Phil I saw that (though I just noticed the word "VST" last night - very hopeful). But since this is new for Korg, and is the primary reason for my switching (I already have an OASYS), I really needed more info, a ...
