Instruments for medieval music
I guess the Pa1000 is not the most obvious instrument for creating medieval music, but I am stuck with it so I want to make the most of it. For a computer game I am in need of composing some medieval music, strings, violins, harps, lutes, ... They should be good quality. For example, I am not very ...

Let me reverse those questions... Secondly will you be performing just instrumental music, will you be singing? I will be singing for myself and maybe family, but I am not good enough a singer for live performance I think. I do have a friend who sings great and wants to perform with me. We did some ...

Tutorials on how to be a performer
I have my Korg pa-1000 for a couple of years now. I'm quite an advanced pianist, but when it comes to really perform like a one man band, I still don't seem to know where to start. I read pieces of the manual and I know what the buttons do, but that doesn't mean I actually know how and when to use ...

Sounds amazing...
How do I know which sounds are included in the smaller pa-1000 set?

Just sharing Y split power chord
I hate it that the Behringer FCB1010 needs a big power cable. Lots of midi equipment get enough power from USB or even Midi itself. As I like to do small sessions with my singer and every piece of equipment counts, I solved it with a split power cable. I think more people will be interested so here ...

No, I don't seem to have any problems either when it is formatted on FAT32 under Windows. But as I am quite aware of how operating systems and file systems work (I have developed a small operating system in the past), I don't know if it will work. Once the disk has been used for a while, it will ...

It seems it has to do with disks larger than 32GB. Even Windows won't format them on FAT32 (which is a bug, a FAT32 can be up to 2TB) I used a third party tool to format both the micro SD as well as the USB on FAT32 which is what the Korg needs. I assume at least the first 32GB of file activity will ...

Hmm, I really like the fact that it is 'internal'. An USB stick 'sticks out' unless you have a super small one. Anyway, I have the micrso SD card now, I'll keep it there and I'll see what happens with it. It's a common feeling I have with the pa1000... "hmmm, it seems to work fine, let's hope it ...

Do I need to worry? Access Denied while formatting SD.
Korg Pa1000 I am practicing a lot with a singer lately and we record a lot with the built in mp3 recorder. But I noticed that in almost every recording, there is at least one hic-up in the sound, ruining a lot of the fun. So I bought a high speed micro SD card for the expansion slot, hoping it will ...

Ahhh... enough said then. How terrible. I've been a webmaster of a big community (poetry and story writing) for 10 years and payed for everything. I started asking donations and almost nobody gave any. After trying for years I stopped working hard to pay and maintain a great website everybody loved ...

Scippie, new Korg fan
Hi all! I recently (well, about a year ago) bought a Korg Pa 1000 and I totally love it. I have always been a Roland fan but I must admit that Korg has something all other brands don't have. However, I also think they could (and should) learn from the other brands because where it shines in ...
