AT AT! AT AT!

WTF, KORG? You add Aftertouch to an already aging platform and call it "new"? Should've called it Afterthought instead. And who in their right mind would spend an extra $500 for this one feature when everything else is same-same as the model without Aftertouch? I hear that there's an upgrade ...

Module Pro 80s Natural Grand EP Layer 2 Out of Tune

I’ve tested out that patch and hear that detuned pitch in there somewhere. I think if you use an aftertouch/velocity sensitive keyboard (even the iPad UI should be able to do this), you can clearly hear the two voices, FM EP 2 and A. Piano. I think it’s the Acoustic piano that’s out of tune, like a H ...

Best midi controller for ipad?

This is probably a dead thread, but... I just went looking for a 61-key MIDI controller that had sufficient controls I could map to the Korg Module Pro (and just about anything else, really). I was getting by using a Yamaha Reface CP, but it's complicated to remember which dials and switches do what ...

Feature Request - Module - reorder set list entries

I think the engineering team that worked on that functionality went to work for Camelot Pro developers...

Korg Module Pro Midi CC greyed out

Hi Franz, I've been messing around with the Module Pro app lately and really like it. I'm guessing maybe you did a Trial of the Module Performance Expansion? MIDI Learn only functions is part of that expansion module. Either your Trial period expired so you'll need to buy the expansion module ...

Thanks!

While it does feel somewhat "familiar", the Kronos is already proving to be a different beast altogether.

I use a K&M 18880 table stand as well, as others I have tried with my TEX88 always felt unstable (x-brace, z-brace) or couldn’t accommodate a second tier (Jam Stand). On occasion, I have used two of the 18880 stands when setting up the TEX88 in a standup playing position to provide additional s ...

I'm selling my TEX88 to make room for my new Kronos 2 73-key. I've come to realize that while I love playing and practicing on the TEX88, I'm no longer as eager to gig with it, especially with our schedule starting to get busier. I needed something lighter, as powerful as the TEX88 (or better), and ...

Not so new, but new again?

Back on the forum! Have had an account here for a few years but haven't been very active. Just acquired a Kronos 2 73-key via Reverb, and am very thrilled to transition from a TEX88 to a K273. Less weight, bigger screen, better sound engines! And, in better pre-owned condition than the TEX88 (TEX ...

Re: What sounds/samples/rythms best suit my music taste?

The TEXes do way more than what you’ve described. If yours is truly limited to just those kinds of sounds, it would be very odd that none of Korg’s factory patches are present. Combo and Program buttons. Each selection has letters A through N options. Each letter should have up to 128 individual pat ...

Re: Noise in the left channel with the vacuum tube switched

I’m just guessing here, but is the Omega on the left side of the laptop?

Move it to the right and see what happens.

Also, how far away do you have to move with the headset before the noise goes away?

I am experiencing the same tube problem with my Triton Extreme. No sound at all in many programs/combis. If I turn off the ValveForce, there's sound, but some stock patches just don't sound right, as if some FX section would be affected somehow. The sounds from an alternative rom in the download ...

Re: Touchscreen loose in the upper right corner, easy DIY fi

Hey all, I recently bought a used TEX 61, and have been using it for about two weeks. Today I noticed the upper right drop-down menu wasn't responding to any pressure, and can visibly see a small gap towards that corner (between the screen and the silver frame). Pushing the screen feels 'soft ...
