Yes this is exactly what I did, to a 1GB SD card and I get the same error message every time.

Take it apart and check the ribbons on the touch screen, pull the ribbon cables out and reinsert them. I fixed mine this way. Worth a shot.

Can't Load Musical Resources on PA500

I have spoken to KORG support and they were not able to help with this issue. I reinstalled the Operating system file using a SD card and then tried to load the musical resources file (Pa500_res_v119.BKP) But I keep getting the error: The backup File is Damaged. I have attached an image of the error ...
