I removed the factory Ssd from the kronos and cloned it on to the Samsung using a Startech disc cloner. That gave me a 1 TB drive with a 60 Gb partition. kronos restore DVD will not allow you to format anything bigger than 64Gb a 250GB Ssd is to large , not sure where the limit starts i have tried a few times....250 gb and 500 is to big You will need to clone you're old drive onto the new one and expand the partition using Ghost for linux and ...

yep its a bit strange but it seems to be the case my restore DVD are fine.
and I've tried a few different dvd drives.I have a 500Gb samsung drive in my kronos the only way to install it was by cloning the original ssd onto it then expanding the partition as i wrote above.

latencey is not a problem as long as you use a good Soundcard and do the right windows Tweeks.
I run my Rig vsts through an an RME HDSPE AIO PCI Express card.
No latency problems .

i should imagine that any old ssd should work I've had a 125 GB kingston in my kronos a while back no issues.

I dont mean make holes in the drive i mean the kronos in order to be able to access the internal drive to be able to clone it regularly . You can not just copy the files. You have to either clone the original drive (do a google serch on cloning hard discs for an explanation) or do a new install ...
