It's quite different! 61 has stronger spring and slower return of a key. It bounces a bit when you release quickly. LS has lighter touch, it's very easy to reach full velocity, you don't have to hammer it down. And you shouldn't because keys don't seem sturdy. It's not classical semi-weighted. It's ...

Nothing lasts forever, plastic/budget keyboards are unlikely to last more than 3 yrs. However the premium keyboards aren't simply built for the landfill they should withstand heavy wear and tear, a lifespan of about 4-5 years is a bare minimum. So we have here not only a design flaw, but … ( you n ...

If anybody encounter similar problem with Korg pedal DS-1H, try the trick I did. Measure with ohm-meter between TIP and SLEEVE. If the readout is always twitching, in both released and pressed position, most probably you have the same issue as I did. I guess this pot is too cheap to be true and it ...

My problem was not note sustain, it was note cutting, but I’m sure they share the same glitch domain. DISK LED constantly fully lit. No responsive buttons at that time. Not even COMPARE. Why is there this overload of processing power (or whatever is bothering it!)? Shouldn’t capabilities of device be ...

My Kronos 2 (313) just gave me a cold shower. First time in a year of trouble-free playing, it stops holding piano notes during playing the piano. Touch screen and buttons non responsive. SSD light steady on instead of usual flickering. Sound goes out but crippled. Power recycling fixed the problem ...

Thanks GregC! You’re the guardian angel of this topic! Sound card? Well, I meant whatever is controlling the sound, I guess it’s processor itself if there’s no dedicated sound module. I have noticed that some part of the problem is related to midi channel gain level. As for “Giving up” ... I was refe ...

Here I come again... I have bought Kronos for HI FI sounds. If it disappoints me in that main feature, than I’m really giving up. Sounds are great in general, but sound card is producing strange cliks and some kind of overload noises when piano is at high velocity. To trigger the problem, do this: 1. ...

I think I have found the sucker! I guess it’s a PCS OSC, whatever that is! Check here: https://youtu.be/CmBojDYULrI I still don’t have any idea how i have altered this. Now Combi work as well. But there’s som much to screw up with the sound if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. And there’s no ...
