I completely agree. If we wanted delay we could either resample and add delay or use the FX release function. Now an arpeggiator on the other hand would be nice...
Maybe the delay on the synths is a DJ thing. I'm not a DJ, so I don't know.

Musicology...
I'm mostly a lurker, but couldn't help but respond to Setsonic - Music theory is useful even electronic music. Unfortunately, I'm woefully behind in the theory department, but what I know and am learning continues to open up new worlds. If you're interested in electronic genres, especially their ...

Well, I played with my setup this weekend and here are the results of my experiment - your mileage may vary. Check the signal flow doc that comes with the mixer as well as the mixer documentation - I found mine to be pretty cryptic but it pointed me in the right direction. Setup: Behringer UB1002 ...

Try the Mixer's FX Level?
I have a Behringer eurorack which is very similar although older. You may want to try adjusting the FX knob on the mixer itself. It sounds like you want FX all the way up on the mixer and you can then adjust the level on the KP3 as desired. I'll play with my mixer/KP3 combo this weekend and report ...

Oops, I was unclear
I must have been unclear on my post - that's exactly what I meant about the drum parts - the delay is built in. Sorry for the confusion. (And I only had a few hours over the weekend to experiment with my unit - it had the pad alignment defect :-( and I'm awaiting a replacement from the store) Thanks ...

2GB Works
I bought a 2GB card, mostly because it was less than the 1GB they were selling! It was on clearance, so I figured why not. I haven't had any issues with it. It's overkill, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Delay Still a Mystery
I only just got my KP3, so I haven't been able to puzzle this one out, either. However, some effects have delay enabled and Drums is one of them. I don't have my cheat sheet in front of me, so I don't know if it's on all the drums but the Y axis controls delay. Some of the other effects don't list ...
