The algorithms are not an issue for me because I can memorize them or have details about them on an audio recording. The page button is the problem. if it didn't wraparound this synthesizer would probably be A whole lot more usable for me. also, Prophet Rev 2 style shortcuts in the modulation matrix ...

I am disappointed.

that doesn't sound very good at all. I was hoping it would be as easy to use as the Prophet. sounds like it might be as bad as a Montage. I wish companies like Korg and Yamaha would consider blind musicians when making their products. sequential and Moog have done a great job, and Moog has gone as ...

Is Opsix user-friendly for totally blind users?

i'm looking at possibly getting an Opsix to complete my keyboard set up. One thing that really peaked my interest about this synthesizer is all the knobs and hands-on controls. I currently own a Sequential Prophet Rev 2, Which is extremely user-friendly for totally blind people like myself. The ...

After the bad experience I had at GC with the first generation Kronos-61, I'm wondering if the Kronos X has any of the same problems as the first generation Kronos. I would possibly like to add either a Kronos X-61 or a used Oasys-76 to my setup when the money is right.

Sounds like you've got a MIDI loop somewhere. You might want to check your MIDI connections.

KingJ- if I remember correctly that's exactly what mine sounded like to. But it never did it that many times. you are right though, it kind of sounds like a game show buzzer. it actually made me laugh when I think that you were asked to play a song & when you got it wrong you got buzzed out! if ...

Hi AlchemistMusic. I couldn't get the mailto link to work for some reason, so I just uploaded the MP3 to a friend's server. Here's the direct link to the file. http://www.davidsonfirealarms.net/joshcaplinger/files/audio/uploads/Kronos-61%20malfunctioning.mp3 This is an edited MP3 file with several ...

What the heck's wrong with this Kronos-61?

I tried out a Kronos-61 (not a Kronos X) at Guitar Center on Tuesday. I was trying to do a comparison recording of the Kronos and the Yamaha Motif XF. The Kronos sounded great, as expected, but this particular one had multiple issues. First, some of the sounds, and many of the combis were completely ...

The editor isn't accessible to screen readers as the text is rendered to the screen as bitmaps. It doesn't use text controls. There is functionality in the editor that can only be accessed from the editor although all of the parameter editing can be controlled from the Kronos. Thanks Michael for ...

Accessibility of Kronos editor software with screen readers?

I'm curious...Does anyone know if the Kronos editor software is accessible with screen readers such as JAWS? Also, can the editor software do everything that can be done from the Kronos's touch screen? Thanks.

I'm mainly interested in the multiple synthesis types in the OASYS and Kronos. If there were a Kronos module, I would be happy with it if it just had the 9 synth engines, wave sequencing and vector synthesis, and KARMA. If it had anything else though, that would be great.

Any likelyhood of a Kronos module?

Is there any likelyhood of Korg releasing a module version of the Kronos like they did for the M3?
