Want to BUY: Electribe ESX SD. Perfect condition, EU. €€€

Hi there, I'm looking for an ESX SD that's not been battered and in PERFECT working order. I live in Barcelona so I'm looking for a European seller.

If you have one for sale, let me know!

Many thanks.

http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=synthesizer&stores=-1 I guess we can make the same assumption about Novation, Moog, Nord, Teenage Engineering, Akai, Yamaha and Alesis, then? Ha! Totally busted, that's what I get for not doing my own research. I'm surprised to see Teenage Engineering on ...

Re: WalMart is selling the new Electribes.

This pretty much tells me everything about where Korg's direction is regarding these new units vs the EMX/ESX. I think from now on I am not even going to refer to these as Electribes, but rather as the YoloTribe and the YoloTribe Sample-player. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Korg-Electribe-Music ...

I'm surprised nobody seems to complain about the lack of instant key transpose function that was available on holding the solo button on the old series.....And while I do love Kaossilator style scalled gates, I painfully miss the arp from the EMX! Why can't we just have the most basic of all ...

I really hope Korg at this moment has a basement full of super nerds optimizing the living cherry pies out of the next firmware so we can enjoy these boxes instead of being annoyed by them So it's gonna take a basement full of cherry optimising super nerds to get this baby up to scratch huh? Doesn ...

Yes that's exactly the problem. Its good only if its a simple key change.
Thanks again for the insight.

In my opinion, though, the transpose function was much better on the older electribes, as it felt more performance driven. On the new electribes, you hit shift+pad4 and then use the Parameter Knob to change the key. I thought this was better implemented by using the pads on the older models. Aha ...

I'll give you an example: On the RM1X for example, even though you could assign any sound to any of the 16 tracks, (represented by 16 white keyboard/sequencer pads) the pads would be split into two sections of 8. The first 8 for drums, the next 8 for instruments. In transpose mode (I don't recall ...

Don't change samples. You need to work within the box constraints, it's part of the beauty right? 8) If I may chime in, I would normally agree with you but... In a creative sense I'm not sure it qualifies as a constraint or limitation. It's clearly a fault. A limitation would be to not be able to ...

To me this highlights one of the strengths of the e2....how you can literally assign any part to be whatever you want Ufff...Not trying to knock it but if you are on the market like me for a sampling/sequencer then comparisons are inevitable, and the strength you mention seems pretty much standard ...

One workaround I've used for the clicks is to put the same sound on 2 tracks and alternate the one playing, record the odd half of the pattern on one track and the even half on a second. This often gives the sound time to decay before retriggering. It's not perfect, but it is a workaround. I like ...

Ok, Thanks Rob.

I think that's about as much I'm going to get without actually trying one, but I have to say when putting all the info together I'm kind of put off.
I was initially sold on getting an ESX SD, just seems a more complete instrument to me. Decisions decisions...

Regarding the clicks - Your best bet is to cycle between mono and poly, as well as types 1 and 2. Adjusting volume levels has nothing to do with the clicks. they're caused by retriggering with sounds w/ a long release....likewise Attack won't really do anything. So you'll have to lower the decay ...
