Thanks!

I haven't gone to 1.7 yet, so I might give this another try...

I tried the hack and was not worth the hassle, but I've had so much fun with the ES2 that I might sell the E2 to buy one...

I have both A4 and OT, I love my OT to bits, great for sampling, mangling and additional sequencing, but if you need more synth power, A4 is the way to go

I think the Electribe sampler would be a good contributor to the OT, not viceversa. Build quick drum loops on the ESX, sample them in the OT

Reporting a failure here. Followed the instructions and could easily swap between the 2 OS, but even after buying the "Electribe Sample Manager" to fill the slots 501 to 540 with samples, I get an error message every time I restart after saving samples. Too bad as the ESX seemed tons of fun, I might ...

It worked but I seem to have a problem when saving samples.
When I record a sample it is automatically assigned to the first available sample slot, in my case 501, how do I save it to a differnt slot, from 523 to 999?

Here's a brief demo of a track I'm working on, EMX2 only, export via internal SD card, sequenced in Live, no effects or mixing/equalising, just normalised before exporting.

It's strangeness can be used in creative ways though. Record a part of sustained notes with the pads. Enter sequence mode and switch off some steps for a gated feel. Enter step edit mode and transpose some steps up/down an octave (press shift and turn the parameter knob one click either way). It's ...

Step sequencer tips/tricks

Is it me or stepsequencing on the EMX2 is really "convoluted"? One has to either enter sequencer mode (or go to step edit then enter C4 notes where needed, then enter step edit note and per each note turn the main knob or shift-turn it to enter, note, length and velocity. If it's a tie note, you ...

What really annoys me about the EMX2 is the pattern cut, making it basically unusable in a live situation. Something that is build for live use, including a useful pattern set function, is rendered useless by that issue. People can try to defend that bug as much as they want, explaining the low ...
