How do I edit MA style drum sounds (cymbal to sleigh bell)?

Ho Ho Ho! I want to play some Christmas songs using the existing MA styles. Basically I want to add a simple sleigh bell rhythm I figured one way to do this might be to edit an exiting style and just replace the ride cymbal with the sleigh bell sound. Any idea how I can do this? I understand basic ...

Hello Nuronerd. There aren't many MicroArranger videos on YouTube but I found quite a bit of helpful information by viewing the 7-part series Korg created for their PA300. The MicroArranger doesn't have all the features the PA300 does - but the menu structure is pretty similar so I felt it was ...

Help - Best way to edit a Style's percussion track?

I have a little Korg MicroArranger which I'm very happy with - but I've only scratched the surface of its editing capabilities. I'm hoping one of you experienced folks can help me find the best way to create a new style. The MA has several nice styles - and I'd like to create a "Christmasy"version ...

Thanks for the suggestion.

I found in the owners manual where I can assign different sounds to the pads. But I didn't see where I could make those sounds loop (or how I would set the timing).

Where do I get info on how to do that on my MicroArranger?

Well I've been playing around with it for a few days and have had some limited success. I've found that via style editing you can create a new style from an existing one and save that in user memory. :-k So I went through the process of adding sleighbells to a track (for each of the 4 variations ...

Quickest easiest way to add sleighbells to existing styles?

I'm using a Korg MA but I'm cross posting this here as it's kind of similar to the PA50/PA80s. Hoping someone can help me with my challenge. I wanted to play a few Christmas songs (live - I'm not creating a recorded SONG). I've identified several styles that work for the songs I'd like to play along ...

I know this topic is a month old but I just found this forum... Everything Thoraldus said is absolutely correct. And if this was going to be your only keyboard I would take his advice. Find the extra $350 or so and step up to the PA300. Still, I have found that having the MicroArranger available as ...
