Anyone here using their M50 with Logic on a Mac?
I have my M50 connected to an iMac using the USB cable. I have the M50's midi out connected to an external synth. The M50 keyboard triggers the ext. synth sounds beautifully, and records the midi notes/info into Logic.
However on playback of the recorded midi, the external synth is not triggered. So its as if the M50 is transmitting MIDI OUT just fine, but not transmitting MIDI THRU.
I've paged thru the Global Midi prams to see if there's a way to turn on MIDI Thru, but no luck. Am I missing something?
MIDI Thru? (Anyone using their M50 with Logic?)

The MIDI Out port will transmit the notes you play on the keyboard, but it will not transmit the notes received back from Logic. That would only come out of the MIDI Thru port. What you would need to do is use a MIDI merger and have two cables coming out of the M50's MIDI Out and MIDI Thru ports into the merger and then into your external synth's MIDI in (one way of doing it). I'm assuming the M50 has a MIDI Thru port, not looking at it right now.
