Waiting
I'm curious how many of you are waiting for delivery of a Kronos 2 88 key!
I was told 4/22/15 by Sweetwater as an approximate date and so far zippo!

Re: Waiting
SW can get reports from Korg that track the progress of a unit made overseas.PatrickD wrote:I'm curious how many of you are waiting for delivery of a Kronos 2 88 key!

For example it might say ' at customs in LA ' or arrival at Korg in buffalo, etcetera .
I would prefer facts if I had to wait

Hi Patrick, delays are not unusual for new boards made overseas. Plus there is a surge of orders where demand is greater than supplyPatrickD wrote:Well to me it just seems a strange way to do business. BUT Im not the owner of Korg so I guess my opinion aint all that needed LOL!!!
In addition, at least 2 months ago, there were numerous problems at Ports of Entry here in CA. Containers were stacked up and truckers had to wait.
Sw should be good at explaining where your new board is
Ya we had the same issue trying to get fruit we exported at the company I work for. Got hung up on the docks and it costs a lot to let a container of fruit rot but it was out of our control. In any the event my patience is being made stronger. I just wanna PLAY the thing! LOL

I ordered my Kronos2 73 from Digital Village in the UK a week ago. They told me they were expecting to have them in stock in about 10 days so it should be with me a day or two after.
Hum... I'm not sure whether to believe them. My local music shop told me June.

I'm still waiting on an 88. I cant believe Korg cant give some type of indication to KORG USA what the problem is. Ill bet this is going to go on and on and on. This is really disappointing Oh well enough whining!

I got lucky. Decided I wanted a Kronos 2 88-key, went online and rang some UK dealers, found a two week old demo unit at Absolute Sound in Bournemouth and it's being delivered tomorrow. So two days from deciding I want one to getting it delivered. Boom!
I got a few hundred pounds off the RRP too, came in at about £2700.
I am sure this the exception though; they only sold me the demo unit because their next stock of 88's is not until July, so no point having a demo unit of something you can't sell.

Delayed
Also still waiting. SW had said expected today (8th) until i asked them today when it's a vague sometime in the future. Placed the original order back on the 26th of February.
Kraft says backordered till June 9th. They seem a little more on top of the delivery status. SW still claims
"Now Shipping!"

Re: Delayed
a web site claiming ' now shipping ' is a form of advertising. I know its frustrating but they can claim they are shipping 1/29 preorders or somethingstokespeter wrote:Also still waiting.
