no PA4X - PA3X OS uddate needed

Since there is no news for new PA4x so far, please join me in asking for an OS update for PA3X. If a 100 people can voice for this, KORG might listen to this and release a new OS update.
There are numerous small OS updates done to lower end PA boards (pa 3x LE, pa900 etc) but not available to PA4X. KOrg please release an OS update to PA4x.

Yeah, that makes great sense for Korg, doesn't it?!

Sure, there's maybe a couple of odd niggles that might bridge the gap (I'd like to see save and load of Chord Sequences, for instance) that might not be too big a job for Korg, but I rather doubt it. Don't think for one moment that their R&D team isn't focused 100% on the PA4X... and time spent developing new features for the PA3X is a) going to take away from time spent designing the PA4X, and b) is going to cut into sales of the new PA4X when it comes out if those features are already in the new PA3X OS!

That's a lose/lose scenario for Korg...

I don't think we can compare PA4x with pa3x. So obviously all the features from PA4x cannot be put in PA3x.

What I meant was - there are many minor updates done to lower end PAs. for e.g I owned PA900. PA900 can copy paste styles very easily. Similar to this there are many more. Why don't korg implement this in their flagship product?

So we badly need an OS update.

How about a list of your favorite things the PA900 can do that the PA3X can't, then?

This might be the thing to send to Korg, rather than just a blanket request for an unspecified update.

If one or two things turn out to be universally popular ideas, maybe, especially as Korg already have the code for the software features worked out, Korg might consider an update to add them...

This sounds like the perfect use for using the 'Poll' feature of the forum. Put up the best new PA900 features, and ask everybody to vote for which ones they'd really like to see added to the PA3X.

I bought a PA1X when it came out and have been writing music and gigging with it ever since. I do wonder what I may have been missing having overlooked the PA2X and PA3X. Is a PA4X imminent from Korg? The timing seems about right. What sorts of meaningful things have been added to the PA3X that my PA1X lacks? What might I expect from a PA4X?

Honestly PA3x can do all major features of all lower siblings. Obviously it can do even more.. I agree..
