A little inspiration on the Kronos

Post by Arizona Sage »

I'm not a great keyboard player by any means...primarily a guitarist. I sometimes do get inspired by a combi or a program that just sucks me in. This is a little chill electronic piece I recorded today on my KronosX88.

It's not a kind of music which I listen and play, but this is very good, I like it. You recorded very well, what did you use? Did you recorded it, using Kronos like recorder ?
Is it Aqua Fria, your song? This is excellent, guitar performing is with great sense for Latin music. Men, you are very, very good musician. I wish you all best in next and next ..... performing.

nice work :)

I think it's a perfect track with lot's of room to solo over with the guitar.
One small tip, pay a little more attention to the chord changes, there are several points where the chord changes a little bit to late compared to your bassline change.

Thank you very much for listening. I run my Kronos into my PC through a Line6 Guitar Port interface and use Acid Pro software by Sony.

Thanks Qui. It is actually one of your sound sets from your Dance series. I'm not sitting in front of the K right now so I don't remember exactly which one but I always get inspired by your sounds. As for the chord changes, I intentionally wanted the right hand chords to come in on the "2" behind the walking bass line at times. I probably should toss a guitar track over top of this now that you mention it. :D

Nice track but I'd like to hear the drums a bit more. They seemed rather distant and faint.

Agree with you re Qui's Programs being inspirational.

nice, it's always great to hear what people do with sounds from my sets. The chord changes intentionally on the 2 is also a great idea if you fill that with your guitar. I think it's a perfect track for that. Í also play the guitar (not that great, but ok enough for what i do with it) and i'm really curious what you could make of it.

I agree on the drum track sitting too far behind the mix. I'll be editing some drums onto this. I wonder if putting some sidechainined compression on the kick might do the track some good or if it would distract from the overall chill factor.
