Audio In issue
I connect the microphone to the Audio in port of Korg PA 600, but there is no voice coming out of the speakers. so when I play the keyboard the sound of my voice is not heard as I play along. Could you please help. Thanks.
Audio In is not the same as microphone in ^^.
In case you´ve a microphone which needs phantom power you´ll loose.
In general i think it will not work to connect a microphone at the Audio in.
If you go with the mic into a small mixer and with the output of the mixer into the audio in - it should work.
I´m very shure Thoraldus is able to explain more technically.

Well, then the question is that what are the audio in, port for. You connect what to the audio in? Regarding sam's reply what do you mean by line level signals?
Regarding Wittid reply. Korg has been a real pain in customer support, also the manual does not explain exactly how the connections should be. But I think what you are saying that audio in accepts line in from the mixer might work. i do not have a mixer, to check it. Thanks for the replies

Google to read more about the technical differences between different types of signals.
To answer your question in regards to the purpose of Line input:
You can connect anything that outputs "Line Level Signals". Such as a CD Player, iPod, tablets, Mixing boards, other musical instruments , mic preamps.....etc.
