midi out in song play mode

midi out in song play mode
Does anybody know if you get midi out in song play mode. In style play upper 1 outputs to channel 1. when I switch to song play all I'm getting is a ticking sound. I've looked thru the menu's track controls mode tab is set to both, but nothing is being sent. Works in style play. I'm trying to play along with an MP3 file, but they don't play in style play mode even though they show they are loaded. Thanks Bob

Pa-Keyboards are using different Midi-Setups depending on modes. You can select that current setup you like to use in "Global Midi" and it is possible to configure different Midi-Setups for modes StylePlay, SongPlay or
Sequencer.
In StylePlay may be using Drum/Percussion/Bass/Acc1-5 as MidiOutChannels (also in menu GlobalMidi), whereas using Seq1/2 Tr1..16 as MidiOutChannels in SongPlay.
