Audio Output Problems!!!!

Post by Masi_music »

Hey Guys!

I recently found an issue with my Audio Outputs L and R when I plug it into my Mixer or Audio Interface.

The Problem is that my "Gain level" on my mixer is at 0, and I still get sound through my monitors or speakers. If I turn my gain level up just up a notch my sound gets distorted. Its really bothering me, maybe i did something in my 3x settings.

I plugged my 3x in couple other mixers just to make sure I don't have a problem with my mixer or interface but its still the same. I don't like the sound thats coming from 3x to my speakers. Its distorted and has bad sound quality.

P.S. My wires are brand new nothing wrong with that either. :?

Hi Masi,

The first thing that comes to mind is whether you have MAXX Audio amplify your signal too much?
(goto: Global > MAXX Master EQ > tab MAXX AUDIO; don't set the slider Volume too high)

Same from headphones plugged directly into the PA3X?

I would suggest that you perform a full PA3X reset using the "reset" download - at least to eliminate any OS issue.

Sounds like you might be feeding the PA3X line outputs into Mic inputs instead of line inputs. That would add about 40dB of gain ( depending upon teh settings ) and cause just what you are describing.

Check that you have youir mixer / audio device set to line input level.
