I too am alerted that there have been no leaks...
I hope we will be blessed with new gear (Analog or Digital)
this year. Maybe they are saving it for later this year?
The Roland connect countdown & silence is getting me excited..
I hope to goodness Roland can make a HUGE comeback with
new Analog gear.. But I have been let down for the last 4 years
with Roland. I pray for them that they come back with a BANG
& not a fizzle. Days away now... we'll see if our Roland wishes come
true this 2014! But if not, MS-20 mini & Volcas will be my next target
for sure!!!

NAMM is actually 2 weeks away (14 days 16 hours according to their official countdown)....Roland must be starting early with their connection countdown since it's less than 7 days until their launch.....Roland's countdown doesn't excite me anymore because they do that every year whether they have something new or not...*Note to companies - if you want a countdown to cause excitement, make sure you actually have something exciting to show at end of said countdown.....I really can't stress this enough....Save the countdown for products that matter (like when the Kronos was launched)....If you use it every year out of tradition rather than you really do have something exciting to show, it greatly diminishes the excitement....There have bean several years now Roland runs the countdown and at the end of it I'm left with WTF????.....At this point Roland has dropped the ball so bad, even when they do show a new workstation, I won't be excited until 1- I hear what it sounds like and 2 - Is it actually different from something they released before....If those 2 factors are met, that's when skepticism will set in to see if they are actually going to support the new workstation or if they will abandon it like they did the G.....I think anything is possible and they can certainly do it but they have a lot of ground to make up......moon

What seems important to me to keep an eye on so far:

Elektron - new mysterious box under frosted glass, possibly a sequencer
Bitwig - they promised to release at least the pricing information
Spectrasonics - not clear if at namm, but on pluginguru chat Persing said that to celebrate round date for Spectrasonics they will introduce something new this year
Casio - ? - only as long as that something is competition to Kronos in more mobile/portable format as Korg clearly stated that there won't be rack/tablet/portable version of Kronos. Although Kronos is a king of workstation synths it is not the lightest thing to carry around on everyday basis, like laptop with some lightweight controller for example.

Nord Forums are abuzz with rumors of something new. Or maybe hopes of something new to be more accurate.

Hopefully, one day they'll see sense and produce a "Modular G3".

Actually they will be introducing software for better studio integration of their instrumenst.... Starting with a new Nord Stage 3, but also being able to use the Nord instruments like a VST, and allowing the Nord instrument to controll VST.s and VST hosts directly...

Not only the best on stage, but also the best studio integration, thats the new route of Nord.

I wish they'd just figure out that a performance instrument needs basic performance features like aftertouch!
