Arp triggered Drim Kit in Combi

I'm trying to create a combi that contains a drum pattern triggered by the arp
The only way I can get it to play is by setting it to the Global Midi channel

When I do that, the individual drum kit sounds are triggered by the keyboard when the keys are played.
When I set the drum timbre to a different channel (2) it doesn't play at all.
I cant find any way to control what channel the arp transmits on

The stock arp driven drum patterns don't work that way. They play only when the arp is triggering them.

I've looked in the documentation and can't find any applicable info.

All I want to do is set up a combi containing a drum pattern triggered by the arp and not have the individual keys trigger the drum sounds.

Can anyone help??
