Funny behavior in Single Program

Post by korgMusaic »

Instrument: Oasys 76 with PolySixEx on OS v1.2.3 (ye-ye...not the newest...).

On my Oasys there is a Single Program that behaves a bit weird. The program has not in any way been modified on my Oasys - it is as Preset. I am wondering if someone else can confirm the "misbehaving" on their Oasys. The program in question is:

PROGRAM P4:Polysix Main [USER-D [EXi]] 004: Phunky Power Bass

Playing the program it sounds as if the Oscillator Volume (VCA) seemingly is being controlled by an LFO. But the result is very unmusical for a bass sound as it appears that the volume fades out and stays 0 for some four seconds and then it fades in again.

Any guesses why that program is acting like this?

That's the LAC-1 EXi, maybe it's unauthorized... Upgrade to the latests version and check again...

As for LAC-1 - yes - it's in Demo-mode. Thanks - that EXi-plains it. :)

I googled "authorize lac-1 oasys" - and found this gift from Korg:

Goody-goody! :D

LAC-1 is now beautifully authorized.
