Korg Kronos Harmony Keys sound set QR
32 Electric Pianos for Funk, Jazz, Rock, Ambient and Neo Soul music, which you can download for free !

Image

This soundset is made exclusively for the Korg Kronos synthesizer. It uses lots of the special features that the Korg Kronos EP-1 engine has to offer. Every program contains a drum track and 1 KARMA scene. If you want to have an idea how to use the sound just activate the drum track and KARMA and play a chord.

Thanks for a quite exceptional set Qui, some fantastic work as ever. I don't play Electric Piano much, but there are goodies in there even for me - love the Transparent Glass, Sparkling Water and Red Whine Glass especially.

The Magical and Dream Piano sets were just my thing and it would be difficult to top them, as dreamy ambient stuff is what I love doing and I have never come across anything as wonderful. I find your videos extremely helpful and are a great source of inspiration and knowledge. I do not post anything online other than to pass on my thanks for all your hard work.

Excited to try these new sounds out, although I am such an amateur keyboard player I feel I probably will not be able to do these sounds justice (funk/soul/r&b chords).
On a side, can I just say I love your music artwork that accompanies all of your sets, very nice indeed.
Thank you for the free sounds Qui!!

Wow, thank you guys for the reactions, i wasn't sure if people would like it, since this is a different kind of sound from me (especially the dry Band EP programs). It motivates me to create more soundsets that are adding some kind of area that i find missing in the factory presets. I'm making big progress on the 'modern' sounds program library at the moment.

I won't forget the ambient sounds in the future, the Combi package i'm working on is stunning in my opinion and will bring also quite a few ambient performance combis (8 KARMA scenes with lots of custom KARMA GE's).

So there's a lot of new things which i'm working on this year.

That's fantastic to hear. The video demo only showed a couple of the programs because i didn't want to make a video that was too long. These presets are also among my favorites, especially the Transparant Glass Program, that one i really like.

Thank you!

There's a Combi collection which i will release in the future, i have a feeling that you will even more like it then the program libraries ;)

hehe i know the feeling when it comes to the skills of those fantastic EP band players (like george duke), i can't do that either. That's why i included a KARMA scene for every Electric Piano so that we still can get that rythmic ep patterns.

I'm not really sure if Prayer used the Mod 7 as an extra engine. If i recall correctly it's only the EP-1 (i'm going to check that for you).

Most of the warm 'neo soul / church type of' EP programs are using two engines. The EP-1 for the Electric Piano type of sound and the MOD-7 for the body of the Electric Piano. It goes without saying that the EP-1 and MOD-7 are a match made in heaven when it comes to these kind of sounds.
