A general area for all different kinds of KORG arranger users to meet up and chat about products, support, music, and news. General arranger talk that’s of interest to fellow musician. I-Series, iS-Series, PA Series and so on....
Someone please help me before this new keyboard goes thru a window....
I'm trying to record a song using both sequencers on the Korg Microarranger, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to record using Sequencer 2. I swear the manuals don't tell you how to do it.
"SWITCHING BETWEEN SEQUENCERS
DURING EDITING
When you enter Edit mode, you can edit the selected
sequencer’s parameters. Go to the main page of Song
Play mode, and select the S1 (A buttons) or S2 (B buttons)
to select the sequencer you wish to edit (see
“Main page” on page 73)."
Also I think you can use Seq 1 to first create tracks 1-16 then save that midi, then use Seq 1 to create tracks 17-32 ... load the the first midi in Seq 1 and the 2nd in Seq 2 then play back both sequencers.
I have to admit, the MicroArranger User Manual leaves a LOT to be desiired. It's one of those manuals you have to read cover to cover several times before you can get your head wrapped around the process.
<i>”It’s easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.”

korg manuel fails to explain how a song is recorded using a sequencer. It says how to play a song. But where does the song come from? We have to wait for the song to come from heaven? strangely How to record a song using the 16 tracks is not explained in the manuel
