I don't remember things working this way on the Triton, didn't think to check if it worked differently on the Kronos before I screwed up.
You'd think that since any sequences you've loaded disappear when you turn off the Kronos that your 'save-all' PCG's, KSCs, etc that loaded with it should also disappear, and the system should restart where it was before any seq+ you loaded.
Guess not.
I saved-all a seq on a Monday. Tuesday I edited lots of programs, saved them to new locations, put stuff in a set list.
Wednesday I loaded that Monday seq and all the PCG, KSC, etc. saved with it.
Thursday I turned on the Kronos, and everything I had done Tues. was gone and the PCG's/KSCS/etc. that came with the seq I loaded Weds. were still there and looks like I lost everything I had done Tues.
Does this mean you have to constantly save your hard drive contents to a file after you make any edits to anything??... and reload it after everytime you've loaded an older seq?
I never had this problem on the Triton. Hope I'm missing something.
Thank you.
Rude morning-after surprise from older seq loading

nope, all edited programs will stay on it's slot on each bank. When you turn off, then turn it on again, everything will still be there. BUT, if you load fresh factory .PCG files, it'll all dissapear.
IMHO It's best to regularly back up your own .PCG every week, just in case you accidentally load another .PCG files.

There is very little need to save your PCG along with your sequence, unless you do heavy program editing. Even then, since there's usually a maximum of 16 programs per sequence, why not save them to new locations?
If you load a PCG file you overwrite what's currently in the memory. Always save your PCG after extensive edits.
