Hello people, I would like to know if any of you guys know how to play multiple plugins in a DAW by splitting the keyboard into different midi channel zones. I have Cubase 5, and tried to figure out a way to do such thing with my m50, but so far no ideas, do you know how I could do so?
Regards
Fernando

It should be a pretty straightforward thing to do.
Copy a two or three part combi to a new space. Leave track/program one in play mode (global) and change the other voice to EXT (sound source) and midi channel 16 (since arp/karma operations are usually on channels 2-3 or higher.)
Set up the ranges (note and velovity) for each voice of the combi, as this will (should!) determine which note the plug-in responds to.
Then set your plug-in to receive channel 16 data and exclude global MIDI (the Korg default send).
You may also need to set a midi filter in M50's global menu to NOT send global MIDI data if your plug-in cannot distinguish the EXT channel from other data (outside the intended range).

Thanks so much! This stuff you just told me is deeper than any other info I got before!
I'm going to study this and try to setup a nice host environment.
This will be great for my youtube videos, specially when I need some complex splits and such...
Once again, thank you soooo much!!!
