Possible Bugs and Problems with OS 2.02

I guess it was about time:

1. Load any Sample Data into with PCG, that you created.
2. Save back as Save All. Kronos doesn't Save the Samples in a User Sample
bank, instead Saves 2 empty KMPs. The regular KSC files has all the Factory
EXs but not the User. Your User KMPs are saved into the Folder but not associated
with any of the KSCs. When you click to Load User Sample Bank you cannot
select to Load the PCG that was associated with or even the GE.
The only way you can have this working is if Saving ONLY Sampling Data first
and then the actual PCG and the rest.

The problem is that:
Kronos needs 2 PCG files in each Set you do and save, one would be
Nedim.PCG and the other would be Nedim_UserBank.PCG.
You also get 2 KSCs as Nedim.KSC and Nedim_UserBanks.KSC
If thats not the way you did it wont work.

I can confirm that Saving Samples and PCGs on OS 2.02 does not work at
all, everything has to be done separatelly and bare in mind, you have to
save your PCG 2 times under 2 different names in the same Folder.

Lets see what others have to say...i knew my happiness would be shortlived.

I actually dont know who does Beta testing for them...Kids? Or the TechSupport
guys that when i call them they actually ask ME Questions about Tech Support.

I'm having a hard time deciphering what you did, based on the steps you gave. I'll talk to Dan to see if I can decipher it. Maybe you can provide some more info...

For instance, did you load a PCG of a particular name, then say Load KSC too? In this case, it loads the version of the KSC file that exactly matches the PCG name, so it's important for me to know the name of your PCG file.

If there is a bug, I'll be glad to help get to the bottom of it.

I have spent hours and hours of my free time last night and this morning helping answer questions. Why not just hang in there and lets work this out? I don't see how lashing out at the Beta program or Korg is going to help get you what you want.

No, its very Simple, Load an SF2 and then proceed what i did.
Kronos has MAJOR problems Saving Data. SF2 Loaded DATA cannot be
Saved as ALL, you have to Save 3 times, everything separate but then
it becomes a problem when Loading back. I did exactly as any person
would do when working with Sampling Data, same as in previous OS.
You Load the SF2, you do whatever in PCG and you go to Save all and
then see what happens.

In the first post, you said to load some samples along with a PCG first.

Then, in a later post, after I asked for clarification, you said load an SF2 first. But that wouldn't have a PCG. So, I am confused about the first step.

So, is the first step to load any SF2 file, or is it to load some samples along with a PCG?

Could you please help clarify the first step? Then I'll move on to clarify all the steps and I'll see if I can recreate your problem today.

be more selective and careful in the way you talk to them. you don't get help by forcing someone's hand.

i simply cannot point to a problem or what i think is a problem?
Show me where i disrespected anyone. Am i the bad guy cuz i always point
to problems and very few times i was proven wrong?
Now i recorded the whole procedure on a video so it can be more understanding.

I agree, you consider yourself a professional sounddesigner, why is it so hard to act like one for you?

Maybe you did found a bug, well it's a big update and probably there will be bugs or not. But this functionality is amazing so if you want to get things solved, how hard can it be to create a step by step guide to reproduce the problem?

I've scheduled an extensive test session this evening with the sample functionality, i will try to reproduce this based on the info you supplied and if it's true (i first have to see that myself) then i will create that step guide so that the guys from korg have some idea what's causing it.

I just tested now, this does not happen only with SF2, it happens with any
Sampling Data, i Loaded my own older KMPs too and its the same behavior.
