KMA Chord Reconition Issue

Post by Deane »

Recently I discovered my Korg MicroArranger does not always play the correct chord. It does not do this all the time but enough that it is disturbing on a gig. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the KMA.

Also, are there multiple chord recognition choices for the KMA?

Hi Deane,

You might want to check MENU>> Preferences >> Page 24:
Chord Recognition Mode.

Hi John,

Just the info I needed. On our Yamaha boards a registration can make changes to just about anything including chord recognition. Can the Korg Performances do the same?

Hope you are feeling better,
Deane

Hi Deane

To the best of my knowledge it can not. You simply select the choice here and that save it ( write) and then it goes for the entire board. But you have to forgive me cause I have not played the Micro for a long time ( spending most of my time available behind the PA800). So others might know more.
I will give it another check but I am pretty sure it is like I just mentioned.
Thanks for your well wishes, appreciated.

kind regards,
John
