I caught Deep Purple in concert a few times back in the 80's and always got a big kick out to Jon rockin' his organ back and forth as he shredded it. Quite the entertainer he was!

RIP Jon

He was also a big influence on me in the 70's when i tried to copy his licks which eventually led me to take up classical piano ( along with emerson's influence)

I am a student of classical piano...I am not a classical pianist.
