How to Eject the USB

Post by Jordy »

I can't anywhere in the manual how to eject the USB. After several times just pulling it out of the slot when the music is done playing has froze up the keyboard.... I use mostly the front USB (F)... so can someone tell me if I just pull the dang thing out or do I have to eject it.

Thank you! :?:

I never eject an USB, but officially it can (depending on the OS) be done with some icon in the right lower part of the screen on the taskbar.

Hi Jordy

(I am assuming you are talking about a USB drive here - not USB connection to a PC)

As far as PA2Xpro goes you just pull it out so I am assuming the same for the PA3X - it might be worth putting this in the "bug-list" sticky topic and hopefully you may get a response from Korg. As I am sure you are aware you "eject" it via software on Mac OS and WINDOWS to avoid data loss but the PA2/3 does seem to have this option.

Cheers

Thanks.... Yeah, you have to eject it on a pc or mac, and on the PA3x there's no way to do that, but my keyboard does freeze up sometimes when ejecting...

I HOPE KORG DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS>

I love this keyboard... I think it's too pricey though for the lack of quality in some areas, like the keybed/action, keyboard freezes and some other areas, but in terms of sound quality and sound coming from the added monitor, there is no better. Even the 10,000 Yamaha CVP 509 doesn't sound better.

I think the 76 keyboard with the speaker option should cost more like $3,000 to be fair. JMHO.
