If you could pick a colour ?

Prediction......If they make an 'extreme' or mark2 version of the Kronos, they may go back to silver to show that it's the one without the teething problems.

I prefer black, mind you. What about you ?

Or another colour, feel free to express.

Metallic grey would be good 8)

+1

Airlines have special "Retro" schemes painted on some aircrafts, Kronos too can have such a limited edition version.
Motif XF7 + Kronos 61 mounted on a K&M Spider Pro! Bliss!

A deep purple (no pun intended!), like the Queen's coronation (?) robes.

I voted black because that's the color of the Kronos I have :-)

No jk, I really don't mind the color. Only one time I hated that I had a black synthesizer ... when I played in full sun ... it got terribly hot (btw, it was not a Korg).

Maybe Korg should sell stickers or case modding gear ... can be quite cheap for them to produce, a nice selling point and synth users would like it (well some would).

Those skins they actually also made for the M3 were never put on the market.

If anyone has info about how to get some of these I'd appreciate...

I prefer black because it is understated and classy. Yes I do agree that what matters is inside but I have to confess (nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition) that I do not like the color of my Fantom X and I find the Fantom G even more appalling.

IF I had to choose another color however, I would choose a very deep blue. I like the Kurzweil PC3's deep blue because it looks black under most lighting conditions but that hint of blue still shows through, so for me, I have the best of both worlds.

Now if I would make it big like McCartney - ain't gonna happen of course - I would have a false spinet casing built around an 88 key Kronos. If any of you have ever seen McCartney play live, he uses a real concert grand and also for a portion of his show a cased synth that looks like a spinet that came out of the Sgt. Pepper sessions! My design would reflect:

The United States - the country of my birth
The Netherlands - the country I now call home
Greece - the country that represents my religion (Eastern Orthodox Christian)
Italian - I am 3/4 Italian
Irish - I am 1/4 Irish
And of course not TOO near the Irish flag, the flag of Britain whose music - in terms of rock - has influenced me more than any other.

What a strange looking instrument that would be!! ;)

Ahimsa,
Vlad
Current gear: Kronos, Jupiter 80, Kurzweil PC3,Roland Fantom X8, Roland XV-88 (yep, its old, but the ACTION is heaven and those XV-3080 sounds are still wonderful for me), Radias-R, Motif ES (yeah it's older but I love the guitars ;) )
